Sheik Hamid al-Ahmar, president of al-Ahmar Commerce and a member of parliament, announced Thursday his million dollar contribution to Palestine, made in light of Yemeni-Palestinian cooperation.
During the Palestinian child festival held in the cultural center of Yemen, he invited all Arab leaders to stand behind Hamas and contribute their support to it on all sides. He demanded respect for the Palestinian people from the EU and the US, as well as contributions from Arab companies to invest in Palestine and support Hamas.
A representative of Hamas, Jamal Eesa, praised Yemen's efforts to stand by the Palestinians in their crisis. He announced that Hamas will continue to resist as long as the occupation exists, and will not recognize Israel as long as Isrealis are present in Palestine's Arab, Islamic lands.
He stated that the Palestinian children fight alongside the adults in the resistance and that the Palestinian people have proven that they are the original inhabitants of the land and are seeking after a good life. "Yesterday resistance worked and today changes are taking place through democracy."

Eesa further indicated that the Palestinian people want change and are seeking for the return of Palestinians to their lands. "We realize that we are standing in new and unfamiliar territory" said Eesa. "This conflict is a conflict of wills and rules."
He declared that the formation of the government is in accordance with the law; that it works towards the requirements of the day and deals with the current situation. "We will not permit absurdity in our principles or in our religion," said Eesa. "We will strengthen national unity through dialogue. This is among our most important priorities. We will also seek for the repopulation of Palestine with Palestinians, as well as a free, Islamic, Arabic Jerusalem. We seek for an atmosphere of cooperation and summon all groups to unite in order to dissolve the Zionist embargo."
Eesa stated that the political movement, which spreads today from Palestine to Cairo to Syria to Qatar to Sudan and Russia, represents the first stage of binding the government together to face the Zionist forces. He announced that an official delegation will visit Yemen shortly. "We will also visit African states, Europe, and America in order to delineate our conditions; the conditions that we want, and not those of Zionism."
The wife of Hamas's former leader stated that the Palestinian woman has entered the legislative council, not for the sake of women only, but for the sake of making combined decisions on behalf of the Palestinian people. She stated that the day of the Palestinian child coincides with the day of the woman.
She further believes that the Palestinian child is eagerly seeking scientific specialization. That today is the day of teachers, engineers, doctors, and martyrs.
She declared that the deep love for the Palestinian child comes from Islam and from the Palestinian woman, who has supported and continues to support the cause through jihad, martyrdom and critical decision-making. She says that women have opened their doors to see the young people who rebel and commit jihad against the occupation. Women have carried weapons alongside the mujahideen and have also fought and been martyred for the cause of Palestine.
Al-Rantisee's wife confirmed that Hamas succeeded previously by winning in the elections of the lawyers', doctors', students', and engineers' unions, and that this success has not ended, but continues in the legislative council.
